I rest beneath your shelter 

feeling safe within the strength of your embrace. 

I lean against your firmness, 

sinking deep into the earth, 

my feet follow your pace. 

And you raise your arms to heaven 

with your vision towering high, 

and you lift me up into the clouds 

and I soar birdlike through the sky. Ahh…ahh…

In healing ourselves, we heal one another. 

And so we must look in each other’s eyes 

to see the reflection of our sorrows and our joys. 

It’s the same for me, it’s the same for you. 

When I hurt you I hurt myself. 

When I fear you I fear myself. 

When I love you I honor us. Ahh…ahh…

Feeling stretched in all directions 

like a universe expanding opening wide. 

One world into another world, 

I go traveling with you as my grounding guide. 

You’re powerful and gracious, 

I am grateful for the chance 

to rest deep within your wisdom 

feeling safe within your hands.

how we’re here to help each other learn? 

With love and compassion, 

we stand strong for each other.
