Unite The Tribe

Unite the tribe, find the common thread, 

running through the hearts and minds of men.

Heal the separation from years of degradation. 

Stop the wars that rage inside your(our) head(s).

Unite the tribe, joining hands to save our sacred lands.

 

Now why are they greedy, are they callous? 

Weren't they loved, weren't they nurtured as a child?

The power hungry take, they rape our living mother, 

and they justify their cause with lies and laws.

 

But they've hardened like the mountains they are mining, 

and they've dried up every feeling that they've known.

So, how could they know that she’s their mother, 

that she loves them as the child of her own.

 

REFRAIN

 

And so, it's up to us to honor one another, 

every plant, every river, every stone.

To celebrate this gift of life we come together, 

to protect this precious earth we call our home.
